Emory Clarence Leland, Jr., age 87 of Lebanon, TN and formerly of Savannah died Thursday, September 29, 2010 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon, Saturday, October 2, 2010 from the Chapel of Bonaventure Funeral Home with Dr. Grover Bell officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens with Roger Futch, Todd Lawrence, Junior Smith, Earl Titcomb and Lee Smith serving as casketbearers. The family will be receiving friends from 10:30 AM till the hour of service at Bonaventure Funeral Home.

Emory was retired from the U.S. Navy and WWII veteran, and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church, Lebanon. He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years: Irene Turner Leland; three brothers: R.G., Dewayne, and Orsen Leland. Survivors include his daughter, Kathy Sue (Jay) O’Brien, Morganton, NC. brother, Lyle Leland of Lansing, MI; three grandchildren: Todd Lawrence, Tiffany Smith, Julie O’Brien and twelve Great Grandchildren.
