I don't know Mr. Daiss for that long but he was a very pleasant gentleman whose spirits were always up and have a smile available for us everytime he came and saw us. He was sweet and even at the lowest point of his illness he maintained to be an amiable person. He will be truly missed.

Raymond was one of the finest men I have met in my 25 years of living in Savannah. His word was gold. I dropped many a car problems off at his shop knowing he would treat my car with the tender loving care of one of his Rolls. I never worried about getting a quote for a repair because I knew it would be a fair price. And it always was.
I am sure he has had the conversation with St Peter on why you should run Gates belts on a car instead of OEM.
Rest in peace Raymond.

I first met Raymond in September of 2005.I had applied for a job as a driver for his towing company. He hired me and trained and became my mentor as well.He was a great teacher of many things and I learned a lot from him.I used to call him my Daddy Raymond.I loved him and Diane both very much.I will greatly miss him but I will always carry in my heart his memory.
My thoughts and my prayers are with Diane and the family at this time.May God continue to bless each of us as He carries His newest Angel Home.

I knew Raymond for many, many years as he and I graduated from Commercial High School - Class of '55. We had many class reunions at his home the on on Burnside Island and the one in Guyton.
He was always my friend and a friend of Commercial High School. The last 2 reunions, Raymond was not up to par; but he would call me and say WE are going to have the reunion at my house. Anytime a class reunion was mentioned he wanted to be included. He was a major part of all of our reunions.
I will miss him and when we have our reunions, it just won't be the same.
