Alwilter Philpot, 82, entered into eternal rest at Memorial Health U.M.C. on June 26, 2007. She was born in Alexander, GA, but later moved to Savannah. She leaves to cherish her memories: son, Porter McGee Sr. (Margaret); brother, Grady McGee Jr.; two sisters, Lucy Jones and Lola Richardson (Samuel); four grandchildren, Naomi Deloach (Richard), Porter McGee Jr. (Michelle), Michael McGee Jr., and Timothy McGee (Tomika); several grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Monday, July 2, 2007 in the Williams and Williams Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Woodville Cemetery.
