He was a native of Millen, GA. Mr. Wright was a member of St. Luke Baptist Church where he sang in the male chorus.
He leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Gaddie Wright; son, Charles E. Wright, Jr. (Chanel); daughter, Wanda Y. Wright Gamble (Ricky) and Chiquita Rene Wright; five grandchildren; brother, Willie James Wright (Janie); sister, Juanita Cuttray; aunt, Viola Sanders; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services for Mr. Charles E. Wright Sr. will be held 11am Thursday July 7, 2011 at Saint Luke Baptist Church 418 West 38th Street Rev. Lexcie E. Aiken officiating Interment Beaufort National Cemetery, Reposing at the church Thursday 9am until hour of service.
