Dorothy Butler Demps

Dorothy Butler Demp, 74, departed this life on Sunday April 13, 2008 at Memorial Health U.M.C. She was born March 21,1934 to the late Tompley Butler and Evelyn Butler Roper in Levy, South Carolina. She leaves to cherish her memories: three sons, Fred Demps Sr. (Henrietta), Alfred Demps, and Mr. Latonya Eugene Demps all of Savannah; one daughter, Deborah Demps of Savannah; four devoted grandchildren, Joshua, Stephanie, Fred Adams and Antionio Demps; and six other grandchildren; two devoted cousins, Sadie Burns of Miami, Fl. and Nathaniel Grant of Savannah; devoted friend, Sister Florrie B. Scriven; and a host of nephews ,nieces, cousins ,and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. at The Temple of Glory Community Church 1105 Stiles Avenue; Bishop Mathew Odom officiating. Interment: Cooper Cemetery Levy South Carolina.
