Ella Mae Scott

August 5, 2012 - September 21, 1938

Ella M. Scott, 73, passed away on Sunday, August 5, 2012 at Memorial Health U.M.C. She was a native of Ridgeland, SC, but later moved to Savannah, GA. Mrs. Scott was a member of Happy Home Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a part of the Senior Ministry. She leaves to cherish her memories: husband, John Nathaniel Scott; four sons, Nathaniel Scott, Jr., John Kenneth Scott (Antonio), Michael Scott (Deitral), and Oliver Scott; six daughters, Virgie Stroman (Herley), Virginia Southwood (Nathaniel); Jacqueline Turner (Johnathan), Brenda Jackson, Nakeisha Loadholt, and Euretta Brown; nineteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; brother, Johnathan Chisholm (Mary); sister, Estell Mannion; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral service for Mrs. Ella M. Scott will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, August 11, 2012 at Second Arnold Baptist Church. Interment: Preference Cemetery, Ridgeland, SC Reposing at the church Saturday 9 a.m., until hour of service.
