Eric Rodriquez Williams, 47 passed away Tuesday, 19 April, 2022 at St. Joseph’s Hospital surrounded by his loving family and friends.He left behind a loving wife of 25 years,Shermeka Heard Williams. His sons, Patrick McCoy, Eric R. Williams Jr., and a daughter Latavia S.Williams, all of Savannah. His parents, Pator Rufus and Matra Williams. His siblings, Retired 1st Sgt Anthony Williams, (Alicia) of Alabama, and Rufus Williams III of Savannah, Georgia. His aunts and uncles, Retired SFC Anthony and Alicia Venable, Retired SFC Bernard and Tina Frazier of Atlanta, Fredriquez Zeigler, Felicia Swanston, of Savannah, Rufus Zeigler, Allen and Shelia Zeigler of Philadelphia, PA., Ricardo and Deloris Williams, Barbara Edwards, and Sandra Williams, all of Savannah. Two great uncles, Samuel Zeigler and Oscar Zeigler of Savannah, Georgia. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at 12:00 pm, at Oakgrove Cemetery. Public walk thru viewing will be held Monday, 25 April 2022, 1:00pm – 5:00pm at Bonaventure Funeral Home in the Sadie B. Williams Room, 2520 Bonaventure Road, Savannah, Georgia 31404.
