Mr. Jimmie Hill, 78, passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at home under the excellent care of Hospice Savannah.
He was a native of Newton, Georgia. He was a member of Tremont Temple Missionary Baptist Church where he served on the Brother Hood.
He leaves to cherish his memories; devoted wife of 60 years, Elnora Hill; four sons, John P. Hill (Cheryl), Simon J. Hill (Dorothy), Henry Hill (Romona), and Willie E. Hill (Brenda)all of Savannah, Georgia; two daughters, Lillie M. Jackson(Darryl) of Jacksonville, FL, and Betty J. Frazier (Alvin); one sister, Ethel Lee Worriels (Deacon Albert Worriels); sister-in-law, Mary Hill; one aunt, Ella Fair Davis of St. Petersburg, FL; twelve grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, October 3, 2009 from Tremont Temple Missionary Baptist Church, 1110 Martin Luther King Jr., Blvd., Rev. Ricky A. Bready Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Memorial Gardens. Reposing at the church Saturday, October 3, 2009 from 10:00 am until hour of service.
