Mr. Richard Smith, 84, passed away on Monday, September 1, 2008 at Hospice of Savannah. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was a retired Longshoreman from the Local #1414. He leaves to cherish his memories; one son, Romeo Houston; three daughters, Veronica Smith, Noella Houston, and Juanita Brown; four grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grand; and a host of friends . Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 6, 2008 in the Chapel of Williams and Williams Funeral Home, 1012 East Gwinnett Street. Interment: Woodville Cemetery.
