Veronica G. Smith, 67, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at Candler Hospital.
She was a native of Savannah, GA. She retired from the Board of Education. Ms. Smith was a Scout Leader for Troop #219 at the Frank Callen Boys & Girls Club.
She leaves to cherish her memories: two sons, Anthony Smith (Elnora), of Virginia and Donald Givens (Tammy); two daughters, Terry Ann Johnson, of Connecticut and Loretta Oliver (Anthony), North Carolina; eleven grandchildren; one great grand; brother, Romeo Houston; three sisters, Elnora Houston, Juanita Brown of Jacksonville, FL and Rose Lewis (Moses); several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other friends.
Funeral services for Ms. Veronice G. Smith will be held 11 am Wednesday , October 20, 2010 at Second Ebenzer Baptist Church, 800 Colbert Street. Interment: Woodville Cemetery.
