Carnell Jenkins Sr.

Carnell Jenkins Sr., 59, passed Sunday, January 20, 2008 at home after a short illness. He was a 1965 graduate of Tompkins High School where he was a member of the track team. He was employed as a construction worker. He was a former member of St. Paul C.M.E. Church. He is survived by: son, Carnell Jenkins, Jr.; two daughters, Questin Jenkins, and Shawn Jenkins; father, Charles Jenkins, Sr. (George Anna); three sisters, Marie Jenkins, Betty Cleveland, and Debra Pridgen; three brothers, Willie E. Jenkins, Adam L. Jenkins (Angela), and Charles Jenkins, Jr.; four grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Memorial Services will be held on 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 26, 2008 at St. Mary's Missionary Baptist Church, 110 Ferrill Street, Pastor Lawrence Baker.
