Eardene Letbetter

Mrs. Eardene Wilhemina Letbetter went home on March 6, 2008. The Savannah native attended the public school in Savannah. She later joined Second Bethelhem Baptist Church at an early age. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Mary W. and Harry Young, sister, Cordellia Betty Jones, daughter, Harriett Joann Letbetter and 2 special nephews, Charles Leonard Jones and Harry Young. Mrs. Letbetter leaves to cherish her memories three sons, Thomas Gabriel Letbetter, Jerome Letbetter, Michael Martin Letbetter; one daughter-in-law, Sonia Letbetter; one sister, Ella Scott; one brother-in-law, Fletcher Scott Sr.; one brother, Herchell H. Young; one sister-in-law, Helen M. Young, 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grand, one beloved aunt, Elveria Rivers and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 15, 2008 at St. James Baptist Church. Interment: Laurel Grove Cemetery.
