Mrs. Geraldine Wright, 69, passed away on Monday, October 5, 2009 at home under the excellent care of Hospice Savannah.
She was a native of New York City, but lived in Savannah, Georgia for the last 35 years.
She leaves to cherish her memories: two sons, Jerome Wright and Robert "Sweet" Wright both of Savannah, GA; one daughter, Vanessa Wright of Savannah, GA; one brother, Richard Wright of Savannah, GA; three sisters, Hariett Lee off New York, Carol Hazel of Columbia, SC and Joan King Wright of Savannah, GA; fourteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; several aunts, uncles, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Geraldine Wright will be held 12:30 p.m., Saturday, October 10, 2009 at Litway Baptist Church, Shell Road, with Rev. Leonard Smalls, officiating. Interment: Oak Grove Cemetery, Savannah, GA. Reposing at the church from 10 a.m., until hour of service.
