Mr. Houston Harold "Hack" Hicks, 74, died Friday, February 12, 2010.
The South Carlina native attended the Hampton County Public School System. He joined Bethlehem Baptist Church at an early age in Early, Branch, SC. He is a Veteran of the United States Airforce. He moved to Savannah, Georgia, and was employed by Neal Blun and later retired from Bo-Mont Trucking.
Survivors are three sons, Virgil Boyd, Rashon Johnson, Gregory Furman; three daughters, Renee Boyd, Tiniki Wilson,and Samera Roberta Hicks; one brother, Joe Lewis Davis (Luevina), Irvington, NJ; two sisters-in-law, Juanita Hicks, Lucille Hicks, SC; one brother-in-law, James Geeter, FL; one grand-aunt, Ella Snyder, SC; special friend, Gloria Allen, FL; two godchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Houston Harold Hicks will be held 12 noon Saturday, February 20, 2010 at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 1280 Yemessee Highway, Early Branch, South Carolina. Interment, Wilkerson Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 19, 2010 from 6 ~ 8 PM in the chapel of Williams & Williams Funeral Home.
