Jewell Benford Sr. 87, passed on August 9, 2020 at his residence. He was a retired Major of the United States Army. He is survived by his wife, Emma Benford,2 sons and daughter in law, Jewell E. Benford, Jr.(Christel), and Jason Benford. Daughter: Cicely Benford. Grandchildren: Jewel, Rochelle, Ahlisihia, Christian, Calvin, Sabastian, and Jadon. Greatgranddaughter: London. Jewel was a mason and a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. He also graduated from Central State University, Wilberforce, Ohio.
