PIN POINT - Mr. Joseph Sonny Haynes, 79, passed away Sunday, October 10, 2010 at Hospice Savannah.
He was a graduate of Haven Home School. He was employed by Beasley Construction Company. Mr. Haynes was an US Army Veteran. He was a member of First Beulah Baptist church where he sang in the male chorus and was a member of the senior choir.
Mr. Haynes was preceded in death by his son, Johnathan Haynes and his older sisters and brothers.
He leaves to cherish his memories: son, Joseph Haynes; daughters, Eleanor R. Golden (Theotis) and Trusann M. Haynes; grand daughter, Chelsey V. Haynes; sister, Mary Frances Haynes; special friend, Patricia A. Wingster; five nieces; six nephews; grand nieces; grand nephews; and a host of cousins and friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Joseph "Sonny" Haynes will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, October 16, 2010 at First Beaulah Baptist Church. Interment: Pinpoint Cemetery, Pinpoint, GA. Reposing at the Church Saturday at 11 a.m., until hour of service.
