Lawrwnce Rivers

Mr. Lawrence William Rivers, 77, passed away Monday, August 18, 2008 at Hospice House of Savannah. He was a native of Savannah, Georgia. He was a Deacon of First Friendship Baptist Church on Hamilton Court. Mr. Rivers retired from the United States Air Force as a Staff Sgt. He also retired from the Board of Education Security Department. He leaves to cherish his memories: one daughter, Cynthia Rivers-Hilbert; two granddaughters, Demetria Rivers Freeman (DiAndre) and Diana Hilbert; six great grandchildren; one niece; one nephew and a very close and special friend, Gwen Wilcox. Memorial Service For Deacon Lawrence W. Rivers will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday, August 25, 2008 at First Friendship Baptist Church, 506 Hamilton Court with Military Honors, Rev. Keith T. Bruen.
