Linda Jane LaRotonda, 71, of Savannah, passed away on Thursday March 27, 2014
at Hospice Savannah.
Born June 17, 1942 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana to Harold & Jane Armstrong, Linda served
2 yrs in the Air Force. She was the 1st Female Commander for the American Legion
Post 184 from 2000 – 2002 and member of the Color Guard, 1994 - 2013.
Preceded in death by her parents, she is survived by her husband of 37 years, James Joseph LaRotonda;
3 daughters - Lelia Warner, Judy Bailey and Rita Jane LaRotonda;
4 sons - James J LaRotonda Jr., David LaRotonda, Rex P. LaRotonda, Ryan P. LaRotonda;
a brother Gregg Armstrong & sister Lana Maes; 19 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
