Mattie Ruth Henderson,80, of Savannah and widow of Jack Clayton Henderson, passed away Sunday, November 1st, 2015, at Hospice Savannah.
A native of Cordele,Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Vera Fountain.
She was a member of Bible Baptist Church.
She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Stephanie.
She is survived by her daughters, Sara (Tony) Crosby, Kathy (Lester) Turner, Carol Atkins; seven grandchildren, Adam (Melanie),Lisa (Robert), Amy (Trent), Katie, Christopher, Jacob and Jessie; seventeen great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5pm to 7pm Wednesday, November 4, at Fairhaven Funeral Home - Hubert C. Baker Chapel, Savannah. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, November 5th, at 1:00 pm at Fairhaven Funeral Home - Hubert C. Baker Chapel, conducted by Reverend Tommy East, Interment will follow in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery, Savannah
