Robert Eleby Pearson, age 77, of Pooler passed away Monday, April 15th, 2013 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.
Mr. Pearson was a Pentecostal and a Trailblazer of The Sanctuary of Savannah as well as a member of the Old Timers Softball Club. He worked as a Plumber/Pipefitter with Local 188.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Sadie Green & Edward Wiliford Pearson as well as his wife, Sara Jo Pearson and is survived by 1 son, Edward Pearson (Janet) of Pooler; 2 daughters, Karen Owens (Everett) & Denise Valdes (Kendall) of Savannah; a brother, Edward W. Pearson, Jr. (Ann) of Brandon, Florida; sister, Gloria Jenkins (Ernest) of Reidsville; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 17th at The Sanctuary of Savannah with Service to follow at 6:00 P.M., with Pastor Larry McDaniel and Pastor Lamar Terrell officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday.
