Sidney Reed

Sidney Reed, 59, passed away at Hospice of Savannah on April 26, 2007. He lived in Connecticut for 35 years and in Savannah for 3 years. He was employed by Bristel Myers Clairol Company as a compounder. He leaves to cherish his memories: two sons, Jerome Reed Kelley, Hopewell, VA, and Kevin Andrew Reed of Stamford, CT; two daughters, Christine Gaston (Christopher) of Columbia, SC and Tricia N. Reed, Stamford, CT; five brothers, Jeff Reed, Savannah, GA, Richard Reed Jr., Savannah, GA, Mack Reed, Ridgeland, SC, Siscro Reed, Savannah, GA, and William Reed, Suncity, SC; two sisters, Birdie Hayward of Savannah, GA and Bessie Brown of Savannah, GA; five grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.Visitation: Wednesday May 2, 2007 from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. in the Williams and Williams Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Second Arnold Baptist Church located at 1427 East 37th Street. Interment will follow at King Branch Cemetery in Garrnett, SC.
