Solomon “Buddy” Burris, III, passed away on Wednesday, June 1 at Westview Nursing Home from complications resulting from a stroke. He was born on November 11, 1941, in Savannah.
He was preceded in death by his father, Sol B. Burris and mother, Mary Susan Burris; two sisters, Jeanette B. Jeffers and Gladys B. Boiter; brother, Richard A. Burris.
He is survived by two sisters, Mary B. Shearouse and Sandra B. Davis (Audy); daughter, Lynn Dionne; two sons, Michael Burris and Thomas B. Burris; four grandchildren, Katie Dionne, Danielle Dionne, Logan Thomas Burris, Gunnar Macklyn Burris and other relatives and friends.
Burial will be private.
